Call for Paper Proposals: Young Scholars’ Forum in Chinese Studies 2026

The Institute of Chinese Studies (ICS) is thrilled to announce the Young Scholars' Forum in Chinese Studies 2026 (YSF 2026) on the theme "Crisis and Revitalization: Reconfiguring Certainty through Global China".
At the forthcoming 12th Young Scholars’ Forum in Chinese Studies, we are delighted to announce the theme Crisis and Revitalization: Reconfiguring Certainty through Global China. The Forum looks forward to receiving submissions which, in humanistic synergy, decode the nuances of (uncertainty) in the following fields in the context of global China:
1. Literature, History, and Memory; 2. Language, Genealogy and Traditional Indigenous Knowledge; 3. Faith, Passion and Beliefs; 4. Endangerment, Preservation, and Transformation of Heritage; 5. Cosmos, Nature and the Anthropocene; 6. War, Peace and Humanitarianism; 7. Intelligent Technologies, Cultural Inventions and the Future of Mankind.
The Forum will only cover expenses for lodging and round-trip transportation (economy class) for the participants. The organizer will provide maximum subsidy of 1,000 USD (subject to approval) in transportation. Forum registration is free.
