Invitation: Hong Kong meets Kazakhstan - A Humanities Cultural Crossroads (13 Dec 2024)
The Faculty of Humanities at The Education University of Hong Kong cordially invites you to our flagship internationalisation event "Hong Kong meets Kazakhstan: A Humanities Cultural Crossroads within the Belt & Road".
This groundbreaking event brings together leading academics from Hong Kong and Kazakhstan, featuring diverse academic and cultural showcases in the areas of:
(1) language education in both Hong Kong and Kazakhstani tertiary institutions;
(2) topics of cultural, film, and media studies in both regions;
(3) introduction of FHM’s undergraduate & postgraduate programmes along with the sharing of Kazakhstani students’ unique experience in Hong Kong; and
(4) screening of the Kazakh documentary MEN SEN EMES (Face the Music, 2019, 73 mins) and post-screen discussion.
